Just watched it today, and apart from the valiant effort by the winner, all I can say is, Lord help us all! Since its inception, we've gone from the sublime to the ridiculous.

Puerile nonsense. If I were still a taxpayer, I'd demand my portion back from the ABC. Who buys this stuff? I estimate the pĺot's been thought up to amuse ten year old children. At least it's on early enough for them to watch it.
