I will keep is short and sweet. Storyline was insulting and boring. Sure, Barbie is a feminist and there is nothing that she cannot do. The movie wasn't funny, it was silly and way to "adult" contentish" for younger audiences. In the "Barbie" World, the women ruled and the opposite for the "Real World". Although, it seemed that the storytelling supporting women empowerment and the advancements of women since Barbie was created 1959, it was all at expense of the "Ken" character who seemed to full of testosterone in some moments but a bit in touch with his "feminine" side in others. To me it was just corny and predictable. Barbie and Ken where advertised at secure in my opinion but it seemed the direction was forcing this imbalance as if we needed to pick a side. Just wasn't for me.
