I won this book in a Matariki quiz hosted by my workplace and it's been really impactful. I had tried gratitude journalling and freeform journalling before and not gotten too much from the practice. But the Te Whare Tapa Wha model in this book made me approach gratitude in a very different way and tune into all the ways I am 'well' / all the things in my life that really impact my wellbeing. Somehow this four dimensional angle made my gratitude much more authentic and meaningful. Since beginning to use this journal I feel happier about where I'm at in my life. It's also a very pretty book.

Season 11 hit you over the head a bit hard with its messaging sometimes, especially the witch trials episode, but at other times it was amazingly poignant, like using the Graham and Grace relationship that we're already familiar with to bring so much more emotion to and form a strong connection with the story of Rosa Parks. Season 12 is better than ever, even if it can feel slightly overacted before you get fully sucked in to the melodrama. It's exciting to watch, emotional and clever, showing us amazing new worlds and technology, which is one of Doctor Who's biggest appeals. It's also very grounded and I love the attention it gives to personal stories, and the way it tells the stories that make up some of today's key issues, but firmly in the context of the past or present, bringing a timeless quality that I hope Doctor Who never loses.
