Nope. Two and a half hours of my life I will never get back. I loved The Shining but Dr. Sleep was abysmal. The plot was all over the place, jumping back and forth to the point it was just so frustrating. Rose the Hat was as sinister than my pet mouse. All the walking about in mist and mood lighting for the sheer sake of it took up about an hour of the movie. I was literally becoming annoyed waiting for something thrilling or scary to happen but getting nothing. I love the horror/thriller movie genre and this falls so far short, it’s like one of those trying to be scary low budget 80s music videos. Sooking the steam and getting twinkly eyes, I mean come on?! The relationship between Dan and Abra was frankly boring and unbelievable. Everyone was raving about this nonsense… I feel short-changed for my £3.49 rental! Apple TV I want a refund!! There should be a trading standards warning with this abomination of a film.
