Stoned Philosophy

Another entry worthy of the GODS! Absolutely loving this game! And the ENTIRE franchise since day one! Anybody who owns a playstation who isn't afraid of violence in a video game ows it to themselves to play these games! There isnt much else I can say on the positive that hasnt already been said . So I guess I can only critique it. The ONLY thing that bugs me a little is how, this being a continuation of the first, why we arent given the entire skill set we left off with from the first and add NEW ABILITIES? It seems a bit silly and perhaps a bit lazy of the dev's not to find new innovations for combat. I feel like I am being robbed of the most important aspect of these games, that set them apart form every other.. The COMBAT! Every GOW entry since the first installment brought in entirely new features. It would have done a world of difference (for me) Still love it though

This game is so UNDERRATED! How have I not found this Gem yet... If you are here then do yourself a favor and go into this game BLIND! You wont regret it. If your on the fence over 40$ then continue reading I love scavenging loot, feeling lost and a certain curiosity about the world around me. Alot of AAA games fail at this because the loot feels so redundant and pointless and just a lackluster environment to be compelled to engage in. Looting for ammo and weapons is a joy.. run out of ammo and health packs? Loot some more!.. A perfect way to keep the cycle going and feeling worthwhile. Enemies are a blast and feel a bit different every time depending on your mood. Different types and ways to play is great. And the lengthy UNCHANGEABLE day/night cycle is genius because it forces you to change your playstyle... and being able to see lights and fires from a mile away at night definitely adds to the immersion. Not to mention the environment produced by FMOD and Avalanche is beautiful! It feels just like Call of the Wild but hunting Nazi-esque killer Robots LOVE IT! That's the only contrary downside.. there are no NPC's just YOU.. good and bad. I generally dislike voice acting and pointless jargon but it can feel a bit lonesome.. hence it being like a hunting sim. That's the ONLY reason it doesnt get 5 stars.. but I havent touched the DLC or play multiplayer because that's why I play videogames to escape from people.. but that's just me! So it COULD reach that level easily. Definitely worth every penny.
