I walked into Metro…In Dino hoping for the same magic that Life in a… Metro had. Instead, I walked out wondering if I had just watched six different half-baked movies crammed into one..
This film is a musical btw.. aah the music. Yes, Pritam knows how to make good songs or copy—but let’s be real, this soundtrack is nowhere close to Life in a… Metro. On top of that, the background score is so loud it actually drowns out dialogues. At some points, I wasn’t sure if I should be paying attention to the actors or just the orchestra blasting behind them..
For a movie called Metro, where was the metro life? No late-night chai, no crowded train glances, no messy commutes—just glossy heartbreaks and commitment issues on loop.
For me, Metro…In Dino felt less like a reflection of city life and more like a loud, confused slideshow of characters I couldn’t care about.
