Cinema is dead. This may be the worst film I've ever seen. I understand the fast and furious franchise requires you to turn your brain off to enjoy. But at least before there was story. Characters had motivations and explanations for things. There is absolutely no plot in this movie. This is a sad excuse of a film and the fact that people keep watching these is the reason why every year we see more of this garbage instead of actual good movies. It would be a huge understatement to say that this movie was bad/unrealistic. Han is brought back for literally no reason. The stuff that happens in this movie is just a straight up meme. They go to space in a Pontiac while wearing scuba suits. Every problem in the movie is solved by magnets. Which by the way, it's as if someone explained what magnets were to the writer but he never actually got to see one in real life so he just assumed they were magic. This movie is garbage. If I have to see another person fall from the sky and be caught by a the hood of car (Which apparently is the softest surface on the planet) I will literally blow my brains out. The acting is so over the top and dramatic that it ends up being funny. Not because of the jokes that are sprinkled throughout the whole thing (almost like marvel but also not at all). The jokes are actually the least funny part of the movie. The funny parts are the ones that are completely ridiculous but delivered with such seriousness that it is just cringeworthy. Vin diesel's best performances to date were when he played groot and the Iron giant. Both of which required no more than one line of dialogue because he simply cannot be trusted with more.
