This film really is a waste of your time and money. Firstly it takes far too long to get going, like it's at about the hour mark that the action truly starts to get going and Skarsgard actually becomes the crow. So effectively it is an hour of pointless exposition, where the same thing could have been done in 15 minutes; because all that hour really achieves is that skardgard and twiggs get together, die, he becomes the crow and goes on a vendetta. Secondly the writing is atrocious. The lines are so predictable and basic that the characters feel flat and lifeless. I shouldn't be sitting in a dark action film and be laughing at the dialogue every 5 minutes for how bad it is. Also somehow they have made the main two characters annoying and unlikeable. The whole point of the crow is that the viewer is supposed to sympathise with their plight and ordeals but in this film they're just annoying and angsty for no reason. There are other things I disliked about this film but I feel this is enough to get across the reason why it is now down to only one viewing a day at some cinemas. Really save your money for something else if you're thinking of seeing this.
