This show is vastly superior to anything I've seen on American tv. The houses are so unique and challenging, the owners so willing and determined to take them on, and George Clarke is so empathetic, knowledgeable, and helpful. My husband and I are in the midst of renovating a dump built in 1860, and whenever I get really overwhelmed and discouraged, I watch this show. It makes any obstacle we face look so much more manageable!
