I absolutely loved the show. I love Rita and all of the characters in it. The depth of this show is tremendous. One of the most touching scenes is when the men were talking about feelings and fatherhood (singing outside the independent school). It was just beautiful. Rita was a true advocate for the students and the pure love of learning.
Some of the politics were interesting in terms of Special Education. It was incredibly touching how Rita kept standing up for the students that nobody else would stand up for. I loved the friendship between her and Hrodis. Some of the most humorous parts were when Hrodis and Uffee dressed up to role play. Loved the part with Alan. It was also cool how many of the words were cognates to English. The subtitles worked well, except maybe once in a while. After a while I did not even notice that were not speaking English.
