This is one of the rare movies that makes such an impression that a viewer may want to see it again. The actors are uniformly suited to their role, understand their character, and deliver superb performances. David Thewlis as the Inspector dominates the proceedings with a voice that cannot be ignored. The entire cast portrays a time in history where societal roles were rigid and demanding. Everyone involved in this production deserves to take a bow, and several encores.
