I agree with the readers who said it was underwhelming and could have been so much more. I’m an avid reader and burgeoning writer. It gave me confidence that I could get published. So many missed opportunities to build conflict and interest. So much about the plot and relationships was implausible I found myself shaking my head and grimacing. I only read it upon the recommendation of a friend. I kept reading hoping it would get better. Didn’t happen.
