I loved the show. The first episode felt a little confusing for a little while but then it quickly gained speed and interest at the end of first episode and each episode after was more exciting. Nicole kidman and Dakota Fanning are incredible actors. Casting was great. The police were interesting in their reaction as they were taken through the messed up lives of those that they thought were a happy family. I liked the lighting in the interrogation room. Made it more surreal somehow. The looks on Nicole character face throughout was amazing. She did not have to say a word but the looks she gave to her husband spoke volumes. (Reminded me of my own sister's intense glares. I haven't spoken to her in years and I am fine with that.) The show carefully exposes the totally dysfunctional family and their friends. Which made for a great and entertaining story. Surprised by who did the murder. Are the wealthy really that messed up?

The movie is very surreal. True to M. Night, exploring the human emotion of being trapped and afraid. Along with his facination with the otherworldly beings, he makes wonderful movies, or so, is my belief. Having had many odd experiences since childhood, I believe there are those otherwordly beings that watch us. I completely enjoyed the movie and liked the ending. Dakota was wonderful, of course. Reminded me of the times when I was a child and spent many hours in the forest while growing up in foster home. I sensed 'someone' watching me while I was crying and I could hear their whispers. I completely enjoyed. We'll done.

This happens more than people realize. The person (male or female) who are seeking their 'prey' know exactly who to target. This happened to me and the person is STILL out there posing as a 'retired' Forensic Child Psychologist and his target are women who have been abused as children. Brilliant scheme he has. The part that was left out is what i call today, is the 'interview date' and that is the first date. He ask tons of questions and you think he is being polite and caring and yet it is 'the interview.' These women in the show were aging and wanting to have their baby with a man who can give them EVERYTHING! Isn't that what everyone wants secretly. We want it all! Great show but a bit long. Thanks Netflix for helping younger women know what could happen and preventing them from going down the rabbit hole to disaster.

I enjoyed very much but I am left feeling emotionally abandoned with so many questions unanswered in my mind. where did the water come from, the moon? Really? I hope that there is a season 2 as i wish to know....how did the child transform and into what and where did the water come from and did it work and on and on. And why the heck couldn't you see tons of stars in the sky from the moon? Just like with the moon landing decades ago....no stars in the sky....really?!.

I started out liking the show but in the 3rd episode i got tired of watching the over acting journalist chase her tail like a frantic dog. The journalist constantly overacted her part, as did most characters and it became annoying to watch. Terrible directing! I could not get the imagine of 'Ruth' from Ozark out of my mind in the part of Anna and her whiny voice underneath the cheap accent did not help. Somehow the bazaar madness of events became just horrible acting to watch and the script turned to boring and monotonous. Even with the strange events caused by a 25 year old sociopath manipulating one wealthy elite after another (for awhile) i continued to try and get through each episode. And on top of it, the throwing in of political slamming just gets old. PLEASE allow us to have an escape from the high school behavior while we are just wanting to be entertained! It felt to me, as i watched this show, like someone who has a grudge against the world created this flop! I give it a one but wish i could put a minus.
