The show is honestly so well done! Percy Jackson and the Olympians is a beautiful adaptation of beloved books, breathing fresh life into a well-worn story. Much like mythology itself, the show adapts the original narrative to better fit both the newest medium and the new audience! With the author's involvement, the first six episodes of the show have proven to me (a fan of 15+ years) that book-to-screen adaptations CAN be done well--they just have to be done by someone with a vested interest in, and care for, the source material. While many things are different, all the important bits are the same, and I'm so happy to have the privilege of seeing it come to life. I truly hope it gets a 4 season renewal, to cover all five books!
