Remember that the set is 100% REAL in this. It’s crazy. They built Freddy’s inside an abandoned Home Depot in New Orleans. This movie keeps it fresh so you don’t expect what happens. Some people say it’s ordinary and predictable, but also remember how they really have to explain things to everyone and the story they introduced. (Light spoilers but not really) The new security guard is actually connected to the ghost children through trauma, and it’s because his younger brother was killed by the same person as them. Mike’s little sister is friends with the ghost children because she can talk to ghosts. The beginning of the movie points this out, but everyone thinks that she has the typical imaginary friends. It was a funny scene, and you can’t see the ghost kids until Mike can, so. Right when he started sleeping on the job he was trying to dream and help his ptsd nightmares find peace. It gets messed up because now there’s ghost kids in his dream. He asks for help and this is important to him so the audience will see this scene a lot. That’s all I’m saying. I really loved it. I can’t wait for the next one. Pre Spring Trap William Afton was intense. Not a perfect movie, but they did a really amazing job. Most of my changes would be editing. I think the second one is going to be scarier. But this one was the lighter hearted introduction. Just like the original game, but in it’s own way. The creator of the video game series was on set for most of the movie and Matthew Patrick, (a YouTuber who stars in the movie and is a leading five nights at Freddy’s expert) was helping cast members with their knowledge. This movie was spoon fed to us on purpose. Now after this I assume an annual / biannually new Halloween movie, and maybe my favorite of all time. It was cute and scary. Lightly Gory and funny. It was endearing and relatable. It’s realistically cartoony. It’s silly. My girlfriend fell asleep during it. And said she was dissatisfied. I know she’ll still watch it again and again ❤️9/10
