People who give this 1 start are overreacting, it wasn't a very good film, but it wasn't awful. The female leads felt very forced and the comedy was disappointing. A few moments were funny but overall it was lacklustre. It felt like they were trying to replicate the Peter Parker humour in Kamala, but just didn't work and became annoying. The fight scenes were very well done, the best parts of the films, however the Villain (dar-benn) seemed to be the strongest person in the universe against the marvels, despite her basically being a nobody and captain marvel being the "strongest hero". I wouldn't waste money on this at the cinema, the only good thing to come out of it was the end credit scene

If you like the hunger games films then you'll like this one too. The hunger games universe is fascinating, and this film managed to show a lot of it. I haven't read the book so went into this blind, but i liked how we got to see the post war capitol, more of district 12, and an early version of the arena. Personally my favourite bit about the franchise is the actual hunger games themselves, and while this one wasn't as good as the ones in the original films, it was still a joy to watch. There were a few references back to the original films as well which was nice. Ignore all of the 1 star reviews, this film was at least 4 stars, I definitely recommend!

Really excited by this film, had to watch it a few times for everything to make sense but think it’s the start of a great set of films. Would like to see a little more action in the next one though.
