Very honest and I really felt for you Phil…things would have been so if he had had a heterosexual relationship! Like to know who stood by Philip and who turned their backs on you. So unfair that you was sacked but wonderful to see the support and undenying love of his lovely his family! Good luck Phil, hope we see you again and I hope you feel better about everything which has happened to you now you have had a chance to detoxify on that beautiful island! Well worth the watch

Rather disappointing…. Remembering precious BBC adaptations I feel this one lacks flow and Estela and older Pip don’t register with me at all! I liked the young Pip though! However, apart from lack of cobwebs Olivia Coleman was great as usual.
