I think it’s disliked mainly by hardcore hip hop fans, because going into it seeing some of the critics, I thought it would be bad. But the album genuinely sounds amazing overall, and is so enjoyable too. The bars hit, the beats are so cool, the deep songs made me tear up, and I like how it’s structured, it flows from one song to another so smoothly! You can obviously see the influences that were on his album, and while Sunshine I think is a good track, it would’ve been better if it was from someone else than Jay Z he just doesn’t sound good on it imo… Babyface absolutely killed it and carried the song though! Favorites: I Know What Girls Like, Lucky Me, Face Off, Real Niggas and You Must Love Me. But the best song on the album has to be Where I’m From if not You Must Love Me. Least favorite? None really, no song is bad on this album!
