Hugely overrated . Style over substance. Hokey supernatural themes undermining what could have been a grittier, harder hitting, believable thriller. While there were good moments, characters and subplots, I felt this was a series that was desperate to shock and surprise with moments of daft melodrama, at times I thought it just tried too hard. At no point was I on the edge of my seat or frightened to find out what would happen next, it was just too silly. Very high productions values. Beautifully shot yes. Can’t deny that. But a miss for me. Doesn’t even bare comparison to Season 1 - even though that one fell a bit into cliche at the end, the first 3/4 was stella TV. Series 4 isn’t.
