Brahmin bashing is a convenient narrative these days. There is a reason for being Vegetarian for Brahmins. Brahmins should not consume non vegetarian, hands down. This movie ( & several Tamil movies) makes it look cool to eat non veg & conveniently disregards the negative impact of that. Ofcourse it is someone’s will, no problem, but why bring Brahmins into this picture. Also by naming central character as Annapoorani, it’s a disgrace to the Goddess. Boycott this movie.

Watched Jawaan with my family. I love all the lead actors SRK, Deepika Padukone, Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi. SRK acting especially the dad’s flashback is good. His portions with Deepika is good. Deepika’s acting & her portrayal is probably the only thing one would remember at the end. You feel for that character. No other character you will recall or remember because they come by so fast. The girls team idea is great but you don’t feel for any of them like in Dangal for example. Every frame has so much happening with so many people & at times it’s overwhelming. Nayantharas police character started off great, but fizzled out badly. Every time Jawaan team in the movie were successful you know they use high tech methods. But it’s so fast paced & confusing how they did it!! Music is good. Villan was like a joke. If only they had focused on the characters & screen play, with great actors like this cast, it could have been a superb movie. And this excess preaching needs to stop.

Watched in theater. Must watch for all who wants to protect our nation’s rich heritage & dharma. If Kerala becomes breeding ground for bad elements, it can infiltrate into other states. Movie is based on real story. Very bold attempt & must watch. Jai Hind 🙏 Jai Shree Ram 🙏

I watched this movie last evening in the US. Movie is so well made and portrays the ruthless killings of our Kashmiri pandits brothers and sisters in 1990 genocide. Most of us were in tears and in pain and cannot imagine how the families would have suffered. Every Hindu should watch this film in the theater and standby our brothers and sisters. If this can happen in 20th century, one can imagine forced conversions and brutalities we read in history in the past where several of our ancestors were converted, temples destroyed, looted and what not. Praying to Goddess Durga for getting justice to our brothers and sisters. 🙏

Watched this movie yday and loved it. It was a slow start but very subtly it hits you and strikes a chord. Loved the way characters are etched, very natural. Loved the ending... although it is not a picture perfect ending one would want, you feel happy for all the women somehow. Brilliant acting by all.
