Really good book. Easy read, blunt, and fast paced (especially towards the end) but overall still very enjoyable book to read. Gets you into the mind of a young boys naïve perspective on the world as he lives through the Holocaust. I understand if some people say this book is boring, as much of the interesting stuff you have to kind of envision yourself as you read in between the lines. The relationships between the main character and the other characters were heartwarming, when you remember he is a young boy for the majority of it, and it was interesting to see continuous themes and motifs throughout the book. I'd say even if you are unsure about reading it, read it anyway. It's a quick read and you'll likely gain something from reading it.
