I think I got rooked! There are maybe 15 authentic Gullah recipes in this book - if you can find them! I was looking for down home low country recipes and got all of these new foodie recipes where you use your Ninja blender and your Instant Pot. Really - come on. If I were a great Gullah chef I would be ashamed to put my name on it! Penne with salmon and vodka???"chicken bacon burger???
No recipe for pan fried chicken, ref rice or butter beans. And, the way it is printed it is hard to tell where one recipe ends and the other starts.
