This is the one time reading the book first ruined the movie. It did not follow the book hardly at all and the ending was absolutely nothing like the ending in the book. It was hard to watch it objectively when each scene was a disappointment because it didn't follow the book. The movie was a different story almost entirely. Read the book, it was a good one.
