Ok, I liked it, but to be honest, it isn’t great. The story is original and I loved the way they portrayed the timeless tales of “rebel” nuns, which isn’t only funny, but shows the unknown reality about their lives and superseded desires. The acting was on point, and everyone delivered excellent performances (I really liked Brie), but I give a special nod to John C Riley, who was hilarious and seamed perfectly cut out for the job. But these pros can’t completely make up for the cons. I felt there were some plot holes that made the progres of the story unconvincing and weird. Also some part of the script was kind of uncomfortable, but I think there was actually no script and many of it was improvised, which I think is cool and made me appreciate it in a different way.
It’s definitely a special movie and if you like dark and unsettling comedies, I would recomend. But I have to say that I didn’t laugh as much as I hoped to which was disappointing. Still its far from being a bad movie but I hoped for more
