This is a never seen before type concept, while watching this movie I recalled a short story that I had read in my childhood. It was about a man who was on the verge of lossing his child in the same sickness that took life of his wife. While the man prayed for his child's life his parents were busy trying to fix him a bride and get a hefty dowry.
Grief and greed are the only real human emotion, more often they collide together, this movie is a great example of it. I never thought of the way the movie would end but the climax was suprisingly well written. The entire movie was written brilliantly, it joked about the most serious topic. It showed the ugly face of the society that thinks of women in all form as a burden, her extended in laws wanting to wed off her while her mother's concern is with the two unwed daughters. I loved Sanya's acting, she was the character, there are many notable actors but this young talent brought a wave of freshness. She breathed into the life of Sandhya, she made her real, she was the hero of the film but she at the same time humanized it.
