Honest characters and good writing lead the way . I really enjoyed this series.

Thank you David Milich for a masterful creation of a mixture of colorful characters that brought Deadwood to life in the 1870's much like Dickens brought London to his readers. The movie has much of the same humor, pathos and grittiness from characters we have grown to love in the short-lived three seasons. The splendid performances of all the actors seemed to be grateful nod to unparalleled writing of Mr Milich. The very best !
