Absolutely my favorite fps game of all time. The combat loop is fun and engaging and pushes you to get better. Unlike others I didn't start throwing a tantrum when the game asked me to press the jump button. Haven't played ULTRAKILL and from what I've seen it definitely has the potential to be even greater than Eternal, but I wish they didn't need to trash talk Doom Eternal to promote their game because it's stopped me from trying it so far.

God of War (2005) is my favorite game of all time. Sure it hasn't aged the best, but at the time I played it, it left a huge impact on me. I think the combat is still mostly fun and the exploration of these grand locations is great. I liked the story as you find out the character you play as isn't as innocent as you had initially believed him to be. I think the new God of War are an excellent follow up but I'll always miss the old games.
