Overall it's two stars, but a visually glorious two stars. Alas, they have made the original Foundation into a story too complex with too many shallow characters. The insertion of modern day vulgarisms that seem to come out of every female character's mouth is very disturbing. The actresses playing Salvor Hardin/Queen Sareth are hard to watch, their lack of skills are really evident when they share scenes with Jared Harris (Hari Seldon) and Lee Pace (Brother Day). S1 was passable, S2 is sinking fast.

Simply awful. E1 was quite good, sucked me in with the location and mystery of the cleaners. E2, E3 and E4 all became progressively worse, primarily due to the casting of and character script of Juliette. The on/off accent of Juliette's character is off-putting and the character as written is extremely unlikable. The focus on her backstory in the later episodes add nothing to the overall arc of the story. Move on to another show. Well I kept watching to E9 and I have to confess it does not get any better. There are no characters to root for, the script seems written by high school students who have only read manga or Harry Potter and the acting by the main protagonist and the deputy sheriff's wife (though a very small role) is beyond criticism. But, I will watch E10. Let's close the loop on this show. E10 was exactly as expected, predictable, more bad acting and worst of all no satisfying ending or cliffhanger. You could switch E1 with E10 and no one would notice. I will not be back for S2.
