It is a great show that highlights the struggles of an aspiring NFL star. Spencer James struggles to fit into his own home town that is overwhelmingly filled with gang activity. Having to live two completely different lifestyles shows the great sacrifices he needs to make in order to provide a better living for those he cares about. I personally view the show as inspiring because James still manages to move forward despite the constant obstacles put in his way. The show produces a variety of different emotions as the season progresses. The only down side is the constant disagreements between the actors. I know it is part of the show but when the same excuse for their actions is constantly repeated, it becomes uninteresting.
