It was entertaining enough and I am interested to see where the series goes but am not impressed with what I’ve seen so far. First of all, the dialogue is incredibly simple and comes off as lazy at times. The villains are unconvincing, have vague motivations, and are often too dumb or incompetent to come off as intimidating as the writers are trying to make them seem. This seems like it’s going to be a series that is carried by Star Wars hype and nothing else. Maybe the rest of the series will be better but this feels just like a cheap, low effort Disney template. It is a shame because the cast has great potential and interesting source material to work off. Just not a great team of writers who don’t seem to want to put the time or passion into making something true Star Wars fans will actually be proud of.

The mechanics in this game are terrible. Receivers stutter after they catch and somehow never manage to get separation from defenders they are significantly faster than. Constant fumbling and the defense seems over powered. I am not new to madden and always play on the all-pro difficulty and the defensive mechanisms do not feel balanced compared to other versions of madden. This version of madden feels like a commercial to sell card packs and not a real game. I will try to refund this game and just go back to playing the madden 18 I have already paid for instead of paying 60 dollars for a Re-skin that has even more bugs than before
