The majority of the book is the writer just waffling about herself. The privilege of the author seeps from every page making it hard to relate to either the authors issues in life or her advice, the majority of which is simply stating the obvious anyway. Given the title and cover I expected to book to be almost entirely about nature and I think the author believes it is but she merely comes across as a typical city girl lecturing on how to appreciate a world that a lot of us have a much closer relationship with. Very self indulgent and very little substance. I advise skimming over the bullet points, reading the prompts and skipping the rest in a similar fashion we do with the recipes on pinterest that give half the writers life story before you can find out the ingredients.
