The story was pretty illogical and full of holes. Why didn’t Ahsoka drown? Why didn’t they just blow up her ship while she was standing on the wing? Why didn’t they go to orbit to dock with the hyperspace ring instead of waiting around for a ground assault? Thrawn has always been my favorite villain because he is a brilliant strategist, and he made so many obvious blunders that were not very characteristic of him. The lines were very cheesy and cringy. Not sure if it was the actors or the writers, but it doesn’t matter whose fault it was. It was pretty disappointing. Also, Lord Baylan seemed like a nice old man, not really what you think of as an intimidating villain.
