I watched this movie for the first time one night when I was consumed with suicidal thoughts. I have never been someone who feels that movies can change our perception of life but this movie talked about suicide and mental health issues in a way that no movie I have ever seen has. All the Bright Places truely moved me. Watching Finch struggle with the ups and downs of life with mental health issues was so surrealistic. As Violet Markey stood up at the end and read her wandering notes I began to violently cry because in that moment when she said, "that even the ugliest of places can be beautiful, as long as you take the time to look," I realised that I had yet to discover the world, I had yet to live out my life. Not only was this movie fantastically made with amazing actors but it pulled me back from the bridge that I was standing on. thank you for blessing my life with this truely astounding film <3 always remember your not alone, there's always gonna be people who love you. all you need to do is find your voice.
