Surprised to see lot of positive reviews here.. Writing review for this movie itself is an utter waste of time as it can clearly be classified as a flop.. At many places, we get reminded of watching a Telugu dubbed movie, right from songs, fight scenes and villains.. Are our Tamil actors trying to attract other language audiences by acting in tamil movies made so as to suit their taste also? Instead, they can choose and act in a full fledged Telugu movie. Why to act in a movie which is neither fully Tamil nor fully Telugu, standing halfway in between?

Karnan - An average movie that created a lot of hype in the recent past.. Thats Karnan in one sentence. Well, the movie opens with promising expectations through a beautiful song. But what we expect from the song will not be there in the movie.. Plot is the same old as many movies in Tamil cinema - the one who is oppressed will agitate against the oppressor.. So, nothing is new in the plot and the screenplay is damn slow.. That makes the movie to lack the thrill. So, it is a normal drama with music being the plus, especially the background music.
