It could be better. The scenario is very dull and the sequence of the events is very immature. The actors are performing like armatures in low budget movies. We usually tend to neglect the scientific facts when we see such movies but the catastrophes described in this movies must have been taken from the writing of elementary school students after asking them: What do you think will happen if the moon falls on earth! I felt that the writer is mocking us - the audience - by considering us such ignorant. If you like to see a big moon heading toward the earth, I urge you too see that on YouTube for free, at least you will learn something then. It was a total waste of time ...

A great movie about an experience anyone can have anywhere. In the first part it forces us to initiate the internal conflict of thoughts and instincts of how to act when meeting strangers. Then it unleashes our prime fears when facing fatal situations. For those who criticize the story and asked for more explanation about the kidnapper's motives, and the back story of the victim, let me remind you that when it happens these elements are not necessary. The film is about the experience itself.

DON'T SEE IT IF YOU ARE A MARVEL OR DC ADDICTED FAN This is one of the few rare gems in the cinema. The whole story is about the conflict of colonial power and human values. It shows that barbarians are not necessarily the least developed ones ... It is not hard to conclude that it represents a fictional documentation of the French and English colonization. But it lacked one thing, brutality, atrocities, and genocides were actually much worst.
