I have to be honest, the show causes me to feel amplified variations of the stress, anxiety, and dread I yearn to escape from when watching TV.
It is objectively an outstanding show, and I couldn't help but keep watching for two episodes. They were so well-written, excellently acted (especially by Emma Stone), and tackle so many of the real-world issues we are faced with every day in media/social media.
I might keep watching baby bites of this show because it deserves to be recognized for forging its own path and succeeding in drawing out such powerful emotions from its viewers.
But it's heavy, a lot to digest, and has me feeling tense and uncomfortable for the duration of the an episode. The music reminds me of The Hours, which also used music very effectively to cause tension in the story. Well done, all around.
