Always Be Kind

The first half was nice, the main leads were lovely together and Sooho was definitely husband goals…but it got more bizarre as it went along. It was way too long and the ending was pants.

I know I’m in a very small minority but Vincenzo didn’t do much for me even though I really like Song Joon-gi. I usually binge watch a K-dramas in a couple of days but had to watch this over a couple of weeks like eating a dinosaur one bite at a time just to make it go down. It can’t make up its mind whether it wants to be a drama, a thriller or a slap-stick comedy. Some of the “humour” (usually involving the residents staying at the shopping plaza) is absolutely puerile and made me cringe, then we get a glimpse of a scene that looks like a bloodbath. The best thing about the whole thing is Ok Taec-yeon as the real CEO, he plays both the bumbling intern and the spine chilling baddie so well that the 2 stars are for him. Oh, and it was too long as well, although I did sit it out to the end. The last two episodes were very good and how the whole thing should have been.

Such a lovely ‘feel good’ romcom/drama. The chemistry between the two lead actors is amazing and they bounce off each other so well you’d think they were really an item (maybe they are idk). The plot is pretty entertaining too and everyone lives happily ever after, even the “baddies”. The only thing I didn’t like was the ditsy friend Xu Li who seriously got on my nerves, luckily there was Riley Wangs dimple to take my mind off her. I’m now looking for more stuff with Leo Luo in because he’s lovely and I want to see more of him.

The five stars are for Cha Eun Woo. He’s perfect in every way. I’d give the drama 7 out of 10.

Excellent! The plot, characters and acting is first rate. Keep the tissues handy though.
