Basically, UK coppers are fools—without guns, without critical thinking. No backup..etc..They had the chance to create a great story, but they messed it up with major plot holes and zero story telling without any character development. Luther breaks the law many times; it's like he just wants the easy way out. In the second season, he releases a human smuggler for one girl. What a great investigator! And when his wife was killed, he ran. He had the phone call, therefore he had the call records; he had the trust of the head of the police, but he ran. Plus, he kept his phone on him, but the police were even not tracking his location. And in every episode, the same drama happens.
