It's impossible to live up to the hype of what one imagines of one of Scott Westerfield's novels. Uglies, however, did its absolute best to be part of the series I adored as a teenager. With details such as the SpagBol, roller coaster, and gloves included, I was transported back to how this series made me feel as a teenager. I loved it, and I hope for more to be created.
