PS5 - 60h played This game is an absolute disaster, and now I fully understand why FIFA cut ties with EA. EA, as usual, continues to rip people off with a worse version of the same game, year after year. I already hated FC 24, but I’d much rather play that than 25. Ultimate Team How do you release a flagship AAA game and not even get the menu right? The game kept freezing for weeks just in the menu. Absolute disaster. Career Mode What the hell is this? The same sht as last year. Lazy filler cutscenes—didn’t even bother making new ones. The interviews have actually gotten worse, with the same fcking basic responses every time! Gameplay & Mechanics I didn’t think this game could be worse than 24, but it’s officially the worst gameplay and mechanics to ever hit the market. EA has outdone themselves as the craziest developer once again. The players move like bricks. Defenders’ ability to recover after a wrong movement is ridiculously overpowered. A defender with 36 pace is somehow faster than an offensive player with 86 pace. How the F is that possible? Passing is a complete disaster. The decisions made by EA’s AI are just insane. The whole game feels like a mess, and when I’m done playing, I feel worse than before I started. Overall, it’s a frustrating experience every single time. I’m done with it. Long story short: Don’t buy this game. Skip this title and wait for FIFA to release their version next year. This market desperately needs a competitor. The EA monopoly has to finally be stopped. This is coming from someone who has been playing EA FIFA since 1999. I’m done.
