I went from slightly embarassed for watching a teen movie to highly entertained in the first few minutes, and it only got better! This film has plenty to say about human behavior, but it does so through fun and imaginative plot devices. It is full of vibrant artistic imagery spanning from fairy tale to comic horror, with positive lessons at each turn. The young lesser-known actors rivaled their famous counterparts in a tug at my heart strings that had me downright concerned right through the finale. The score and special effects are excellent and well-placed. Highly recommend!
