Welcome to Netflix casting/writing where 80% of the population of white areas is black and every relationship is same sex. As someone who grew up in the 2000’s in a very inclusive area/culture, it takes a lot for me to even notice those things much less be so overwhelmed by their over-use in a story line that it significantly damages the plot. (I’m not white, btw). When races/sexual orientation that is a minority to the population is casted/written so disproportionally and it’s not directly related to the universe of the plot it’s just super stilted and weird. I hope Netflix writers learn a healthy balance but this work was just trashed. This isn’t inclusive casting, this is woke garbage who’s plot and writing weren’t strong enough to support it against Netflix’s bizarre political agenda. If they ruin more content like this we will be canceling our membership like so many others.
