beautiful visuals and i loved the characters. most of the acting was bad and the plot went absolutely NO WHERE. i actually can’t believe i sat through this without falling asleep. it began in a promising way, but me and my mom kept waiting for something interesting to happen, and it never did. this movie boring, has a false interpretation of poverty, and has no plot, but interesting characters. i loved the beautiful visuals and occasional pretty sunsets they showed.

Watched it with my two best friends and it literally is only good if you want to laugh at a bad horror movie. Overall acting was okay, but this is an embarrassing movie to say you were in. There's basically no suspense, the plot holes make the movie so confusing, gives children a reason not to trust their parents, gives children a way to KILL their parents, and overall has a bad ending. It also left us questioning, "Is that it?" We thought it might have potential as we regretted not seeing it together in the theaters, but as we got further into the movie, we realized it was totally not worth it. Bad movie, so don't waste your time.
