Wonderful film. It is an official remake of Forrest Gump with Indian context. Just how Forrest's life shows key moments in history, Laal Singh Chaddha's life also shows important events in the history of India. It sensitively covers all major incidents. Operation Blue Star, Indira Gandhi's assassination, Kargil war, etc, but skips 2002 Godhra riots because the present situation in India is already giving a lot of hate to wonderful movie. Had the filmmakers added the Gujarat tragedy, all hell would have broken loose. With events inconvenient to the present govt and bhakt-trolls out, the movie shows how LSC goes from one phase of life to another. It has some scenes that will make you emotional, happy, upbeat, disheartened and optimist. LSC is the story of our lives without the tribulations.
