I usually love sci-fi, and I feel like I’m the one from another planet after reading all of the positive reviews of this show. After struggling through the first episode, I felt that a very interesting concept was done in by slow pacing and flat stilted dialogue. It was like going to a poor high school production of a great play. It should be good but it’s death to sit through. I decided to watch the second episode to give the show another chance, since a lot of good shows start slowly. I didn’t last five minutes. That first scene of the expedition crew droning on about who was going to go on a reconnoiter mission and why was enough for me.
