This is one of the most under rated metal albums ever made. Dax Riggs haunting vocals have never been used in a more visceral context. The untimely death of Audie Petrie robbed metal culture of an exceptional act. I was lucky enough to encounter them in person when i was in my teens, and for years this album has been a litmus test in musical taste with others I have met. Whether they "got it" or not. Decades later, it still call forth the same sensations. Dark, heavy and moody, this is one for the ages.
