After my second viewing of this movie I wanted to avenge this couple and wanted some revenge to be dished out to the aliens responsible for this nightmarish reality. I wanted to delve into fantasy and change the conditions of their circumstances and say, what if the aliens selected a couple with superpowers, or some sort of specialty to even the odds and provide a fighting chance for this couple. The movie robbed us as viewers of an essential ingredient accompanying the make up of our social well being, which is hope. The movie afforded no relief, retreat, or retort for the absconded couple. Absolutely harsh! The phrase symbolism of the house being a "forever home," in ancient Km'mt (Egypt) is connected to a tomb, or what is called "House of Eternity." Upon my second viewing I was curious to observe how exactly they, the couple, were ported in to this madness. Was the house itself the port, or was it multiple ports, both in and out? The entry point of the port could also have been at the entrance into the track housing setting. I became interested in assessing if this nightmare could have been avoided. Whatever! This was a horrific bait and switch con job. However, it left me with an infinite amount of questions which is the mark of an awesome movie. My hope is they make a follow up and this time, stick it real good to the parasitic aliens.
