I’m only giving this a 1 star because there isn’t an option to give it a zero. This is honestly a horrifying production: the acting, the plot, everything. A very unsettling movie. There is an intense undercurrent of unspecified tension, as if the cast were being threatened with death if they didn't stick to the mundane script that was obviously written by someone who had never been to the movies… or outside in that matter. The wardrobe: it is clear that all cast members were clothed by Matalan, a disappointing retail store only found in the dreariest of UK towns. For a storyline with chefs and culinary references, all the food in this movie looked nightmarish. I’ve seen bare, unseasoned chicken more times than I would care to mention. There was also a meal prepared by Clara’s mother on Boxing Day which had both raw onions and fresh strawberries on the same plate! WHO MADE THIS MOVIE.
