Honestly I waited for a sale because of the reviews, but the more I play the more I am absolutely loving to play this game. I will say it is easily the worst "soundtrack"/radio playlist of all the games by far, but otherwise I am having a blast. Take it as advertised, a reboot, and ignore any story from the previous games.
