Firedog (Firedog)

As a career firefighter/paramedic I found this show to be incredibly stupid and borderline insulting to actual firefighters. Showing up to a fire call without wearing an air tank? Nope. A fire captain talking an armed schizophrenic out of his apartment? Would never happen. A chest tube in the field? No paramedic anywhere is trained or allowed to do that. Intubating a kid with asthma? That's the absolute last thing you do. The things these characters do would get them, at the very least, fired and possibly up on charges. I had hopes for this show because I've always liked Rob Lowe, but even he can't save this poorly written schlock-fest. Tacoma FD is more realistic!
